Support Vector Machine plug-in in Analysis Services

What is it?
&lt;/h2&gt;The Support Vector Machines (SVM) plug-in is a data mining plug-in in SQL Server Analysis Services. It provides an additional classification algorithm above the algorithms shipped with Analysis Services. Classification is the traditional data mining problem in which one tries to assign cases to into categories. SVMs are widely taught on universities and mostly used in science for solving complex problems. This project consists of the plug-in in Analysis Services and a viewer which can be used for viewing the results of trained model.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;h2&gt;
How does it work?
&lt;/h2&gt;After installing the plug-in to Analysis Services, you are able to select the Support Vector Machine algorithm and learn a SVM classifier on the datasets you choose. In addition to the algorithm, a data mining viewer is developed which enables you to analyze your dataset and what the classifier has learned from Microsoft Office Excel 2007, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS).&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Example output of the viewer:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img src="http://i3.codeplex.com/Project/Download/FileDownload.aspx?ProjectName=svmplugin&amp;amp;DownloadId=45974" alt="Viewer_WDBC.jpg" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;h2&gt;
